In progress
Wing the Fairy not only knew about Alloy, but also knew of Mano, the snail with the Rainbow-colored Snail Shell. Wing offered to reveal Mano’s location on one condition: bring him some snail shells.
Completed
Gave snail shells to Wing the Fairy and in return got information that Mano frequently appeared near the thicket around the beach.
Full dialogue
Hey, it looks like you’re more interested in Mano than Alloy. In that case, I can’t give away information that easily. If you really want to know about Mano, you’ll have to fulfill my request first.
Accept: Bring me k Snail Shells, k Blue Snail Shells, and k Red Snail Shells. That's not too hard, is it? Do this for me, and you'll be on your way to Mano!
Decline: You don't have to if you don't want to. But only fairies know where Mano is. Few humans have even heard of him, so there's no one else you can ask..
Have you brought all the snail shells? Hmm... Let’s have a look. One, two, three... good! You’ve brought all of them.
