These terms apply to everyone who uses hubcw.com ("HubCW", "we", "us"), whether or not you have an account. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use HubCW.

1. Who can use HubCW

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. HubCW is a fan site for MapleStory Classic World. You're still bound by NEXON's own terms when you play the game.

2. Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for everything done through your account.
• Don't share, sell or transfer your HubCW account, and don't create accounts to get around a ban.
• HubCW staff will never ask for your HubCW password or your Nexon login.

3. The marketplace

HubCW is a listing board. We don't own, hold or deliver any items or mesos, and we aren't a party to any trade. All trades happen between players inside the game. You trade at your own risk, so check items and mesos in the trade window before you confirm. Every listing, trade and rating also falls under the Marketplace Rules, which are part of these terms.

4. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post: listings, screenshots, profile details, messages and feedback. By posting it you give HubCW a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display and share it as part of the site. Sale prices you record become part of Price Check history, which shows prices from completed trades to everyone. Only post content you have the right to share. Don't post anything illegal, hateful or anything that reveals another person's private information.

5. What's not allowed

• Real-money trading, account selling, scamming or misrepresenting items (see the Marketplace Rules).
• Harassment, slurs, spam, or pretending to be HubCW staff or another member.
• Trying to get into accounts, servers or areas of the site you don't have access to.
• Interfering with or overloading the site or the systems it runs on.
• Anything covered in section 6.

6. Bots, scrapers and reusing our data

Don't use automated scripts, bots, crawlers or scrapers to access HubCW, collect its data (listings, prices, sales history, member profiles or the game database), or post, bump, rate or message, unless we've given you written permission. Ordinary search engines that follow our robots.txt are allowed.

You're welcome to quote single prices or facts from HubCW if you link back to the page you used. Copying or republishing a whole catalog, price history or database, or building a product whose substance is HubCW's data, needs our permission first.

7. Game content and trademarks

HubCW is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by NEXON. MapleStory, along with its in-game names, text, icons and artwork, belongs to NEXON. HubCW shows this material for fan reference and can't license it to you. The HubCW name, the site's design and code, and the Price Check data we collect belong to HubCW.

8. Moderation and termination

We may edit or remove any content, and warn, suspend, ban or block any account or visitor that breaks these terms or the Marketplace Rules, or that we believe is harming other members or the site. We can do this without notice. You can stop using HubCW at any time.

9. No guarantees

HubCW is free and provided "as is". We try to keep it accurate and online, but we don't promise that it will always be available or error-free. Price Check figures are estimates based on past trades and aren't a guarantee of what an item will sell for. The game database is read from the game client and may be incomplete or out of date after a patch.

10. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, HubCW and its staff aren't liable for any loss that comes from using the site. That includes lost items or mesos, failed or scammed trades, and decisions you make based on Price Check or the database.

11. Other services

HubCW uses Google Analytics to measure site traffic (see our Privacy Policy), and it links to other sites such as Discord and Twitch. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using HubCW after a change, you accept the new terms.

13. Contact

For questions, permission requests or reports, use the Report button on a listing or profile, or send a private message to a HubCW admin.
