Story

In progress
The master blacksmith of Perion, Silas Irons, is giving me a test to see if I'm fit to become his apprentice. He said that a true blacksmith must have the required amount of strength and knowledge. He told me to defeat the monsters around Perion and bring back the raw ore they drop.

Completed
I passed the test given by Silas Irons, the master blacksmith of Perion. Does this mean I can become a true blacksmith in Maple World?

Full dialogue

There have been more monsters around town lately, so I've been busier than ever. It sure would be nice to have an apprentice to help me out... Oh! You there! Ever thought about becoming a Blacksmith?

Huh? What's a blacksmith? Hahaha! You're honest, I'll give you that. A blacksmith is someone who works with metal ore to craft various metal armor pieces. You still look like a rookie, but something tells me you might make a decent apprentice. What do you say?

Accept: Good choice! But even I can't take just anyone as my apprentice. Let's see... Right! I'll need to give you a simple test to see if you've got potential.

Accept: To become a blacksmith, you'll need not only technique, but also strength and knowledge: an understanding of materials, knowledge of how to obtain them, and the ability to gather them. Go defeat Stumps and Dark Stumps near Perion and bring me 5 Bronze Ores. Then we can talk further.

Decline: Looks like you're busy right now. That's fine. In Maple World, getting stronger isn't only about defeating monsters. Learning how to work with metal is another path to reaching new heights. Come back anytime if you change your mind.

It seems you defeated the monsters I mentioned and collected the ore properly! With this, I suppose I can teach you my craft.
