I ran into Rowen the Fairy again, who had given me Fresh Milk for Ronnie, Mr. Wetbottom's son, last time. Back then, she seemed guarded, but now, she's accepted me as Ronnie's friend...
Rowen the Fairy is an assistant for the head magician of Ellinia, Grendel the Really Old. She's concerned about the Cursed Dolls: evil dolls he'd made with black magic, a long, long time ago. While they'd been sealed for quite some time, a bunch of Lupins recently stole them and got away. The Lupins have since become zombies and are destroying the forest. To take back the forest, someone needs to eliminate the Zombie Lupins and take the Cursed Dolls away from them... So, I readily accepted the request to collect 50 Cursed Dolls, but I fear those crazy monkeys may be too much to handle...

I eliminated a bunch of Zombie Lupins in a forest near Ellinia and collected all 50 Cursed Dolls for Rowen. In return, she gave me 7 ores. I hope the forest returns to normal...

You're Ronnie's friend. You came at just the right time. It's not easy for me to ask a human for help, but... I have a hunch that I can trust you on this.
Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Rowen the Fairy, secretary of the Head Magician in this town, Grendel the Really Old. We've been looking for a traveler who can help us out. Well, would you like to hear the whole story?
Grendel the Really Old used to be very much into black magic, which was considered off limits. Black magic is VERY powerful, but there's a chance it can backfire and the Magician casting the spell might lose the ability to use magic altogether. So it's very potent but requires utmost caution.
Grendel the Really Old wasn't fully trained, but he thought he could handle it. He tried to bring a straw doll to life. Anyone with half a brain knows that magic that has to do with life itself is absolutely forbidden!
Something went terribly wrong in the process, and the curse of black magic seeped into the doll, transforming it into a Cursed Doll that had to be sealed up forever. In the end, Grendel the Really Old was able to seal the Cursed Doll up and hid it away somewhere.
But then, the Lupins that live around Ellinia Forest took the doll. When they returned to the forest, they became zombies. The Zombie Lupins are now wreaking havoc in the forest. Grendel the Really Old assigned me to handle the situation, but he could hardly expect me to resolve the whole thing on my own.
To get the forest back to the way it used to be, we need to kill the Zombie Lupins and remove the Cursed Dolls. I'm awfully busy here, so will you do it in my place?
